IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) is a power semiconductor device commonly known as the "heart" of power electronic devices. As a strategic emerging industry in China, it is widely used in high-speed rail, new energy vehicles, rail transit, smart grids, aerospace and other fields.
Recently, the fully automatic IGBT defect X-ray three-dimensional detection equipment independently developed by the Jinan Research Department of the particle physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Jinan Nuclear Technology Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences) has officially appeared.
This device is based on X-ray computed tomography technology and incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms into the detection system, which can automatically identify and sort non-conforming products.
According to Jinan Zhongke Nuclear Technology Research Institute, this significant achievement has achieved fully automatic online non-destructive testing of IGBT modules, real-time data feedback and storage, effectively solving the difficulty of inaccurate X-ray 2D testing caused by double layer solder stacking and heat dissipation columns, greatly improving testing efficiency, and ensuring the product quality of IGBT modules.
